They are very tasty with cream cheese, or as a sandwich. For some food from Down Under, stop by Outback Steak House and have a Bloomin Onion, Aussie Style. Outback is located at 5582 Old Hickory Blvd in Hermitage, TN. Also on Hickory Blvd is Taki Japanese Cuisine where you can find fresh sushi and sashimi, Udon, or teriyaki beef. For Sushi and Sashimi, fresh Tuna and other fish are caught and instantly packed in ice. When the fishing boats hit shore, the fish are taken directly to a shipping vehicle, packed on a plane, flown to various locations, and then driven to restaurant, all within 24 hours. Some fish for Nashville are brought in from the Gulf of Mexico on a daily basis and sent directly to Sushi shops in the area. Fresh sushi is both healthy and tasty, and fish provides valuable nutrients to our diet. Also nearby StorPlace are the Royal Thai Restaurant and the No. 1 Chinese take out. Cinco de Mayo, named after the Mexican Holiday on May 15th, serves excellent Fajitas, Tacos, Burritos and other Mexican dishes, while Gyros Pizza serves up some delicious Italian food as well as the Greek Specialty Gyro, a lamb or pork-based meat wrapped in a fried pita with tomatoes, onions and the yogurt-based Tzatziki sauce. The succulent flavors combine for a great meal. If you are on the go, there is a McDonalds on the corner of Central Pike and Old Hickory, and a Subway and Dairy Queen a few blacks away.
You can get your oil changed up the road at Valvoline Lube Service or Jiffy Lube, and even look for an upscale used car at Eurosport Auto Sales at 4031 Andrew Jackson Pkwy.
